Hillsborough County Roll Cart Order Application
This application allows customers to request an additional cart, a replacement cart, or a size swap.
Payments can be made using a credit/debit card or through an eCheck withdrawal.
Customers will be identified by their residential property address or folio number after completing the Resident Information form on the following page.
The folio number can be found in the top right corner of your property tax bill or by using the Find Folio Number search link below.
Your property information must be verified to confirm the correct delivery location for your roll carts.
Please note: There are fees associated with an order or swap request.
- Additional/New Cart: $65 per roll cart: There are three available sizes to choose from: 35, 65, or 95-gallon. Customers are allowed to place up to two roll-carts of each commodity out for collection on scheduled collection days: two gray garbage and two blue recycling carts.
- Replacement Cart Fee: $65 per roll cart for existing customers. This fee applies to carts that are missing or damaged beyond repair, such as those with holes, cracks, or broken lids. There are three available sizes to choose from-35, 65, or 95-gallon. If your current container is damaged beyond repair and you want it removed, please keep it at the curb until the replacement roll cart is delivered. Hillsborough County only retrieves carts when they are being exchanged as part of a replacement or cart size change. If your cart is damaged and not reusable, you may keep it, repurpose it for personal use—such as storage or holding yard tools—or drop it off at your nearest Community Collection Center without it counting against your disposal points.
- Cart-Size-Swap Fee: $20 per swap to exchange an existing cart for a different size (35, 65, or 95-gallon). The existing roll cart must be usable, undamaged, and placed at the curbside for the technician to complete the swap. If the County’s technician determines the cart is damaged and unusable, the exchange will not be completed, and a replacement cart order will be required. If the usable, undamaged cart is not curbside for the scheduled size swap, the exchange will not be completed, and a new cart-size swap order and fee will be required.
